Director of Operations, Thrive Food Services Group
Robert Gombas serves as Thrive Food Services Group’s Director of Operations and is responsible for leading Noble Ground Coffee and future business endeavors for Thrive Food Services Group.
He brings more than 30 years of experience as a leader in food services, hospitality, and high-end country club management to this role. As an entrepreneur, Gombas has served in various management roles including as president and partner of the St. Louis-area Egg & I restaurant franchise (similar to First Watch), and has led large teams as chief operating officer/general manager at several country clubs.
His career has taken him to positions of increasing responsibility in several states, including Washington, D.C., Oklahoma, Georgia, Maryland, Colorado, Missouri, and now to Arizona.
Gombas studied Hotel and Restaurant Administration at Oklahoma State University, and is a proud veteran of the United States Army.
